This Friday, we will be discussing the Appamada Sutta (SN 3.17). This sutta talks about heedfulness. We will take a look at what heedfulness is, and what are its mental qualities.
Since this is a short sutta, we will spend more time taking an in-depth look at heedfulness.

This Friday, we will be sharing the Culamalunkyovada Sutta (MN 63). This sutta contains the famous simile of a man shot by an arrow, outlining the frivolousness of speculative views in the practice of the middle path.

Anapanasati Sutta
This Friday, we will be discussing an important sutta – the Anapanasati Sutta (MN 118). This sutta is the Buddha’s discourse on the proper practice of breathing meditation, a form of samatha or concentration meditation.

This Friday, our sutta discussion will be on Magandiya Sutta, in MN 75. In this sutta, the Buddha talked about the superior nature of spiritual happiness when compared to sensual happiness, and used the simile of a leper to show the difference.
